The Home Depot has requested permission to change their name to Larry Stinson because the latter is quickly becoming a bigger hardware store. Stinson continues to impress at every turn and rack up the BBA honors with it. One year after winning the Joe Gillstrom Newcomer of the Year award, The Kid followed that up with winning the coveted JL Sawyer Silk Silver Slugger Trophy. He has also won the Charles Puckett Golden Bat Award for 1B the last two years.
Stinson was very humble during his acceptance speech. "I am blessed to be able to play a game I love and call it my job. I am truly humbled by this award and owe everything to my coaches and teammates. There is still one trophy that means more and I plan on getting one here soon".
Stinson will continue to be the leader of this team for the foreseeable future as GM Calvaruso tries again to get a team built around him for another run at the Landis
