Well, you can't say we didn't warn ya. San Antonio Startin Pitcher Ricardo Rivera joins an ever increasing list of Outlaw pitchers that have won a Steve Nebraska Golden Arm Award by taking home the 2042 title of best pitcher.
The 22 yr old Guatemalan dazzled the BBA world, giving opponents, fans and sports writers a taste of what could become an elite career. Every time Rivera took the mound, he wowed the crowds and gave his team a great chance for the victory. Rivera ended 2042 with a 19-8 record, hurling 202 innings and striking out 205 batters and only giving up 163 Hits.
Rivera joins the other members of the San Antonio elite that include Hi Brown, Juan Jose Ornelas, current teammate Yriggs Carpenter and 2 Time Winner Nelson Ramirez. Great company indeed.
