San Antonio Outlaws Rookie First Baseman, Tony Hernandez, was the June winner of Rookie of the Month. Hernandez absolutely raked during June and has almost impossible to keep of the base paths.
Hernandez finished June with a .379 BA and drove in 19 RBI's, to go with his .423 OBP. The young 1B from Nacaome, Honduras has become a force in the middle of the Outlaws lineup and has helped make everyone else a better player.
"I just go out there every game and try to help us win. This is a good team and a very close knit team. Awards are nice but they don't get you wins and that's all I care about right now. I am proud to represent San Antonio" Hernandez said after Wednesdays game.
