2063.1 Omaha moving to Brook Park,OH
At the conclusion of the 2062 Monty series team Owner Carl Ayers texted GM Spencer and said I need to see you first thing in the morning 8am sharp. Unable to sleep all night GM Spencer thought for sure he was getting fired in the morning. After all the team took a big step back in the last season and Omaha has been making steady progress but it has been on the slow side. I felt shaken that night i felt I was vulnerable because I had not done enough. What ownership asked GM Spencer caught him off guard.
I want you to call Rocky Mountain specifically Justin Niles and ask him if he wants to come back home? GM Spencer said what do you mean call him to see if he wants to replace me? no ask him if he wants to move his new organization back to Omaha. Justin is a legend in the Omaha area he has spent 30 years in Omaha and the fan base trust him. Owner Ayers said I have been trying to figure out a way to move out of Omaha, but Omaha has had a team for 30 years and if I move away and leave this great fan base with nothing I will be crucified. I have already been in talks with the Mayor's office in Brook Park, OH and that fan base is starving for a championship in the Northern Ohio Area. They have a football franchise which is one of the worst organizations in all of sports and the fan base still love them no matter what. That area is starving for a winner and i want to deliver on that and bring them a winning organization they can be proud of. These fans want a baseball team that can deliver them a championship and I want to do that. We are going to call ourselves the Brookpark Brownies. Spencer you are from the northern Ohio area the fan base will quickly adapt to you, but we need Justin to agree to come back to Omaha.
So that evening GM Spencer called Niles and said hey I have a proposal for you. First off we are so glad your back in the BBA and since we have reached the first offseason with your new organization I have something for you to consider. Niles was kind of caught off guard by the offer and said he needed some time to think about this. Niles said I like a lot about this proposal but he made a counter and the counter seemed to hit all the right spots and both sides quickly agreed to this idea. It was clearly a win for everyone Niles gets to return to the town he has spent 30 years in and GM Spencer gets to go closer to home in the Northern Ohio area.
This all moved very very fast and there is a lot of work to do in the coming weeks and months before the start of the next season for the Brook Park Brownies. We believe this fan base will be through the moon happy to have a team they can trust in to deliver them a championship one day. Brook Park Ohio is a growing suburb in Northern Ohio with a lot of future development coming in the next decade. To have an opportunity to part part of this great community is going to be great Owner Carl Ayers said. We will have more details to announce at a later time but we are excited for everyone involved in this move.

So, is it "Brookpark" or "Brook Park"? (think you just had a typo in the middle of the message)

no connection to Brook Park. I tossed a few towns around in my head near Cleveland and Brook Park Brownies had a nice ring to it for me
