Pablo Guerrero
Guerrero, 24, was originally selected out of college by Austin (nee Edmonton) in the fourth round of the 2059 amateur draft. Now in his second season in the big leagues, he is 4-10 in 18 starts with a 5.20 ERA. Scouts project him with plus movement and control of his six-pitch repertoire, which includes a fastball, slider, curveball, changeup, sinker, and splitter, none of particular note. Scouts speak poorly of his work ethic.
Heading to the Shredders are RP Alfonso Costello and SS Raúl Sandoval.

Alfonso Costello
Costello, 19, is already in AAA after being selected out of high school by Montreal in the fifth round of the 2061 amateur draft. In 23 appearances, he is 1-5 with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP. He possesses an elite triple-digit fastball, as well as a slider that projects as elite, a sinker, and a cutter. His movement and control are said to be average. Scouts say that he is not a hard worker.

Raúl Sandoval
Sandoval, 19, was originally selected out of high school by Montreal in the second round of the 2061 amateur draft. He is a glove-first infielder with excellent range and a plus-plus throwing arm. His glovework is decent but he is merely average at turning the double play. He can play corner outfield as well. His bat projects as average across the board with the exception of a poor batting eye. Scouts laud his work ethic and characterize him as highly adaptable. This season in rookie ball he has hit .305/.402/.512 in 82 at-bats.
