61.36 Ayala Adds to Trophy Collection

Today the Johnson League announced the results of the Jason Egan Reliever Award voting. Montreal's closer Augusto Ayala was the top vote-getter. Blazers stopper Adam Bristcoe finished third.

Ayala made 70 appearances for Montreal this season, notching 37 saves and 36 shutdowns while leading the league's relievers in ERA (1.57), WHIP (1.03), rWAR (3.9), and opponents BA (.194). He was the Blazers sole representative at the All-Star Game. Image
Adam Bristcoe
Bristcoe led the league in appearances for the third year in a row with 90. He led all relievers with 41 shutdowns and 32 holds.

I was trying to get Ayala in FA too. He turned out to be a great investment for you guys.
