Jedidiah Marzuq
No one made a bigger leap forward than last season’s Rule 5 pick, Jedidiah Marzuq. A good outfielder with a plus hit tool, decent power into the gaps, and strong base stealing instincts, he seemed like a good fit for the Blazers. With no experience above Short Season A, he figured to struggle during his enforced stay with the big league club and struggle he did, batting .227/.255/.356 (62 OPS+).
He was ranked #20 among Blazers prospects in last year’s Prospect Handbook, with an overall potential of 45. Below are his potential scouting grades in last year’s 2060 Handbook and this year’s 2061 Handbook (not yet published).

Raúl 'Scooter' Gallehos
Since the first edition of the Handbook in 2059, Raúl 'Scooter' Gallehos has ranked third among Blazers’ prospects, with an overall potential of 60. This season, he moved up a notch, with significant improvements in his power, both into the gaps and over the fence. He also improved his strikeout avoidance, which was sorely needed. He now has an overall potential of 70.

Juan Hernández
