Breaking news just came in over the wire that GM Jeff Shipman has made a major change to the Gamblers organization. We have just learned that fan favorite Ross White was sent packing today to the Las Vegas franchise. Fan reaction came pouring in quickly to this move via Twitter.

Gamblers4life - Enough is enough! It's bad enough that Jeff Shipman traded away The Rock last year and now White? This guy shouldn't be the GM of a lemonade stand!

ACG#1 - So our best player get's trade because...we have no chance to win? Who are these guys Vegas sent us?????

RossWhite4Prez - WHAT!!! I AM BURNING ALL MY GAMBLERS GEAR!!! I AM A LAS VEGAS FAN NOW!!!

These were just a few of the tweets we got here at the Atlantic City Press. In return the Gamblers acquired the following players Robb Van Winkle, David Crocker, Gerald Mason and Bob Gibson. The addition of these players though seem bitter sweet with the loss of White seem to help tool this team for the future.

GM Jeff Shipman had this to say. "We were dead last in team batting and team ERA. I understand that many fans will be upset at the loss of White. We wish nothing but the best for White, he was the face of this franchise and his work in the community was unparalleled. Las Vegas is getting an amazing player and a leader as well. We are thrilled with the players who will now put on the Gamblers uniform as well though. We feel we have taken a team which has many holes and were able to fill many of them in one move."

How will this move turn out? We were not thrilled with the trade last year with Seattle and now it seems their competition just got another one of our key players. While the talent in return is not at the same level, it is a small decrease and much in return.
