PITCHER OF THE SIM:
RP Jesus Garcia
Garcia picked up three crucial saves to help lead the Mounties to their first winning sim this season. Hopefully this will be confidence in the sophomore closer to work up to his elite rookie season.
POSITION PLAYER OF THE SIM:
LF Greg Clover
Clover once again stepped up big, hitting .320 with a homer and 3 rbis, and was the game winning run in our first walkoff win of the season against Long Beach. He and the rest of the offense have looked a little better, hopefully a corner he been turned? (Also Clover is a 60 now)
DUD OF THE SIM:
1B Sam Corkum
He's been the guy to come in for pinch hits and occasional first base starts but he continue to look horrendous, bo hits on 13 at bats for the sim. Is the 21 year old running out of time?
NEXT SIM:
This long strecth of games doesn't get easier, we finish off with Sacramento before taking on San Fernando and Portland.. maybe we should curb expectations a bit..
