PITCHER OF THE SIM:

SP Dirk Bessi

Bessi pitched a lights out 7.1 innings giving up 0 earned runs and striking out 7. Unfortunately he didn’t pick up the win because we got shutout. He’s used to it by now.

POSITIION PLAYER OF THE SIM:

RF Miguel Montero

Montero looked good in the opening series, driving in 3 runs off 4 hits to start his Mounties debut. Hopefully he can maintain a solid presence in the lineup.

DUD OF THE SIM:

LFGreg Clover

Clover had the chance to lead off and managed to pick up just one hit (granted it was a triple). It’s only three games so not gonna look to deep into this yet.

NEXT SIM:

Next we see the Mounties to travel to Bikini for a series against the Krill before coming back home to take on the Valencia Stars. Vancouver also holds the 13th pick in the amateur draft which is underway. No word yet on who will be selected.
