LF Greg Clover
3 years, $19 million
2064: $6.5 million
2065: $6.5 million (T)
2066: $6.5 million (T)
Clover has been solid contributor to the Mounties since coming over via trade with Long Beach back in 2059. He's picked up 8.2 WAR, hitting roughly .270 with 55 home runs and 185 RBIs in 439 starts. He also has elite fielding in the corner of, picking up a diamond glove last season. This deal buys out two free agent years and gives them both team options so it is very low risk for the team compared to some of our.. *ahem* other contracts.

SS Oskar Lojdahl:
6 years, $54 million
2064: $10 million
2065: $10 million
2066: $8.5 million
2067: $8.5 million
2068: $8.5 million
2069: $8.5 million
Yes I know I can already hear the pitch forks as I have signed another player to a massive 6 year deal. This one goes to my long term project in Lojdahl, who fun fact, is currently the longest tenured Mountie when I signed him back during the 2059 offseason. It was a five year deal worth $9.4 million. Now he'll earn more than that the first year of the contract. To some this does feel like an overpayment and it's more than likely true, for a premium position at shortstop you gotta do what you gotta do.

RP Jesus Garcia:
3 years, $11 million
2064: $2.5 million
2065: $3.5 million
2066: $5 million (T)
2062 Egan Award Winner Garcia has agreed to buy out his remaining two years of arbitration as well as one year of free agency which is a team option. This deal will help us save roughly $600,000 per arbitration year as estimates were showing $3.1 million and $4.1 million respectively. It's hard to imagine he was a fourth round pick back in 2057 to award winner, but I'm proud of him. Certainly am glad he's willing to stick around.
