The Stars are still struggling this season. So far June is a little better than May but still the Stars are 7 games below .500...Allot of the younger players are playing now and hopefully its a matter of time before they all click as a team and start winning....
The offense is still struggling as they just cant seem to score enough runs...The Stars in most offense categories are 10 or 11 overall in the JL which wont win many games...


SP Brian Middleton
really shut down the Bison, shutting them out 6-0 on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 5 strikeouts..This season Middleton has crafted a 5-7 mark with a 3.28 ERA in 118 innings, with 92 K's and allowing 21 walks....Middleton last 3 games is 1-0 1.93 ERA...Last season Middleton won 16 games for the Stars....

In one of his biggest games of his career catcher Juan Rodríguez drives in 6 runs against the Buffalo Bison, going 3-4 with 1 HR. Rodríguez is now batting .257 with 5 homers and 13 RBI'S in 74 AB as the Stars backup catcher....

Rookie INF Alonso Perales who is know for his D in the minors is showing the Stars he can hit too...Perales in his first 13 games is hitting .340 with 16 hits, 4 doubles in 47 AB since he was called up in June...In 3 seasons of AAA ball he hit .289.....
