The Stars ended up with a very good month in June with a 16-11 record...The 16 wins was one of the best months for the Stars in a long time...With June over the Stars now are 4 games under .500 and hopefully they can make up those four games in July....

INF Han Witter had one of his best games with the Stars yesterday...Witter was on fire as he ended up 5-6 on the day.. Witter singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. This year Witter is batting .289 with 7 home runs. He has scored 40 runs and driven in 34.

37 year old SP Eladio Beltran picked up his 10 win of the season and he has been the most consistant SP the last two years....Beltran with 10 wins has a very good ERA of 3.56...Last season he went 10-5 in 17 starts with a ERA of 3.33... Not bad for a 37 year old vet....

INF Vicente Medrano had a hot 5 games hitting .451, 1 homerun...Overall Medrano is hitting .276 4 37 for the rookie infielder....Medrano got the start at the beginning of the season and has never looked back....
