The Stars had a quiet off-season this year but did make a few moves that hopefully will help them out for a better 2010....
The Stars going with allot more youth added a few more players in the off-season...Vet MR Steve Camcho could give the Stars a liitle more depth that they needed... Camcho now 36 will start as a MR and hopefully give the Stars 70 plus innings this year...The Stars needed someone who can come in and give them 2-3 innings in the middle of the game and thats why they signed Camcho....
The Stars also signed Han Witter..Witter 28 has a career batting average in the EBA of .324 and the last two seasons he has over 200 hits in both years...Witter also showed some power with 17 homers last year....Witter main postion is 1B but can also play 3B and fill in at catcher if needed....Witter can DH also so he should get plenty at bats....
So its not many addtions but hopefully they both will help the Stars to 85 plus wins this season with the rest of the young Stars....

Re: Valencia Star Report # 1 off-season
should be interesting...Witter a much better addition than Camcho IMO; but what teh hell, both definition of low risk, they might help, and Witter probably will!
