The Stars are off to there best start in 8 years...May was a fantasic month for the Stars...In May the Stars went 18-11 after a 13-14 April....
On the offensive side INF George Bellairs had a great month hitting .320, 31 hits, 3 doubles, 3 triples and 3 homeruns...Bellairs added 11 rbi's too... Overall Bellairs is hitting .263 6 homers and 16 rbi's....
1B Ángelo Vargos had a much better May than his April numbers...Vargos in May
hit .279 with 9 doubles, 5 homers and had 13 rbis....Over all Ángelo Vargos is hitting ,263 8 and 22 rbis....
OF Yi-lin She had a weird month...She only hit .179 but did manage to drive in 19 runs so his 14 hits were big...She still leads the Stars in RBI'S this season 27 rbi's with only a .182 BA...
Vet SP Eladio Beltran had a soild May as he went 3-1 with a 3.29 era... Beltran at 36 is still going strong but the big question will he last the full year....
CLO Finley Nickerson is off to a great start...Nickerson 15 Saves leads the leauge and has a low era of 1.96....The most saves he ever got in a season was 28 so he could surpass that mark this season....
