The Valencia front office stayed on the pitching side of the ledger with its second round of the 2063 draft. This time it was of the starting pitcher variety with 20 year-old Lawrence Ross.
Ross comes to the organization fairly developed with an overall rating with scouts checking him in with a potential rating of 50. While the southpaw’s Stuff/Movement/Control potential ratings of 6/5/5 are not off the charts by any means, he also brings a pitch arsenal consisting of 4 pitches with his money pitch being the Cutter with a potential of 9.
Last year in college Ross struck out 73 batters in 56 innings on his way to producing a 1.61 ERA .
