As the Stars wind down the season thy have now fallen to last place and one of the worst records in the MBBA...The pitching has been horrible all year long especially the RP...The Stars pen ERA is a wopping 5.18 which is 10th overall of 12 teams...Terrible...The STARS need to address there pen problems during this off season.....RP Bradley Nowlin has been just horrible this season...Nowlin has been given every chance to pull out of it but has last control of his pitches...So far Nowlin has an ERA of 9.58 and in 31 innings has allowed 50 hits but does have 30 K's....The funny part is Nowlin record is 0-0....

SP/RP Deshawn Pines has really stepped it up this year...Pines who started out as a RP moved into the rotation a few months ago and has done really goo so far....Pines has been in 31 games and has started 18 games....He has a recored of 7-8 and an ERA of 3.58...In 128 innings he has 91 K's.....Last season for the Stars he pitched in 72 innings and had an ERA of 2.95....

INF Ed Ross has been hot ever since coming back from been injured last season....Ross now in 84 games is hitting .354 16 doubles, 5 triples and 15 homers with 45 Rbis....His OBP IS .414 and contines to give the Stars high hopes next season if he can continue his new found hitting.....Last season Ross hit .257 in 99 games.....
