OMG, What a series for the Stars....The Stars went into the series vs the Washington Bobwhites as two teams that looked very close.. they lost 3 in a roll and the Bobwhites had control of the series...Well the Stars came roaring back one game at a time and won 4 in a roll so the Stars now move on to play the Chicago Black Sox..The Black Sox will be a very tough series for the Stars as they have played them 12 times this year and went 2-10...So the Stars have they work cut out for them and need to play great baseball in order for them to move on...

PLAYOFF GAMES..

1. The Stars started off losing game 1 9-2 from a great pitching performance from stud SP K. Howell, plus WAS L. Jenkins added a big Homerun..Hollins for the Stars took the lost...
2. In game 2 the Stars ACE D. Hyngary didnt have his stuff and Wash starter Doherty did and Wash was on top of this game 7-0...For Wash Echague and Craft both hit homers...
3. Hollins came out again to start game 3 which was very weird and struggled through 6 inn, but the game was won on a triple in the bottom of the 9th from Wilfredo Valudez and then a sac fly from Waichirou Moronobu...Braunstein picked up the lost...6-5 Wash Homeruns: WAS: W. Moronobu (1), H. Carl (1), N. McKinney (1), L. Jenkins (2] Stars: G. Barr (1), S. Rossi (1)
4. Kellogg started game 4, He left the game in the 6th tied 4-4, but in the top of the 8th Banks Bender hit a 3-2 hit for a single, Rye Kelly got on on an error off the pitcher, Bender then scores on a freak passed ball...that was the game, 5-4 win for the Stars....Stars Homeruns: G. Barr (2), R. Kelly (1), D. Davis (1)
5. Hyngary started for the Stars and he was on today 8 k's in 7 inn..The Stars bats came alive as they won 11-1...The best news was they beat there ace Howell...Star Homeruns: B. Jackson 2 (2), D. Davis (2)
6. Hollins started his 3rd game of the series vs Christen, Hollins did a little better and the Stars won there 3rd in a roll 7-5...HR - WAS: W. Valudez (1) VAL: B. Jackson (3)
7. Well this was it, game 7, all or nothing...Kellogg vs Doherty The Stars scored first in the second inning when DeMario Davis reached on a drop throw by the 1B..Steve Rossi singles, Banks Bender singles and Davis scores, Rye Kelly reaches on another error and Rossi scores...For Wash Neil McKinney doubles, Doherty singles to drive in the run in the 2nd...bottom of 6th, Banks Bender doubles, Rye Kelly singles, Bo Jackson flys out Bender scores, Cristian Pellegrino singles, Dan Wachowski singles to score Rye Kelly ...That was it for that inning, In the bottom of the 7th Steve Rossi singles, Rye Kelly singles him hom for another run,,5-1 Wsh came back to score 1 run in the 9th but they fell short and the
Stars won 5-2,,woooooooooooooooowww...What a come back..
