The Stars start September the same way they have been playing all year...So far in September the Stars are 4-6 and really looking for towards next season...The offense is just horrible as in most catagories there 12th overall...
Injuries have really plagued the Stars lately...SP Phil Leftwich is gone the rest of this season with a ruptured tendon..Leftwich will be back before the start of next season....Also SP Michael Cosme is gone for this season but will be back before the start of next year... Cosme down with a partially torn labrum...The worst injury goes to INF Ed Ross with a ruptured medial collateral ligament...Thus far this year Ross is hitting .257 with 3 home runs, 27 RBIs and 33 runs scored...Ross was named starting secondbaseman and he will be out until mid season next year....Ross who was drafted back in 1999 finally makes it and now this....

SP Keith Cabana over the last 4 games is 3-1 with a 1.95 era and overall Cabana is 16-18 with a 4.05..Cabana has had a weird year so far...He has had two 5-1 months but also has had a 1-6 and 1-5 month too....With one more win it will tie him for his all time most wins with 17...Its possible he can break that this year....
