The STARS with a run of 27-20 since August have clinched 1st place in the JL Pacific.. Since 2014 it will be the 5 playoff appearance the Stars have made it into...This years team has some good pitching but the offence is not very good....

The Stars leadoff hitter Kevin Minuso suffered a fractured rib in yesterday's matchup against the Vancouver Mounties while running the bases. Minuso is expected to miss 5 weeks of action.
In his 2019 season totals, Minuso has 9 home runs, .294 BA, .381 OBP, 45 RBIs and 70 runs scored. So it looks like he will miss the playoffs which will really hurt as they really don't have any hitter that can replace him and his D is one of the best in the game at 3B or SS...

Catcher Jason Dunn is ending up with a fantastic year...Dunn is hitting .285 40 homers and 113 RBI'S, with a WAR of 5.6..Very solid year for the 29 year catcher...His 40 homers are the second best he ever had in a season since he hit 45 in 2016....
