The Stars are hanging in second place 4.5 games out behind California and only 2.5 games behind the wild card slot...The offense is just horrible so far this season...None of the FA pickups are doing anything so far...

Outfielder Jorge Corral finally at age 27 will get his shot at playing everyday for the Stars since the rest of the outfielders are doing so horrible.. His first 7 games Corral hit .308 1 homer and 2 RBIS was good enough to stay in the starting lineup another week...

Ace SP Brian Middleton is off to another solid start this season...Middleton is 6-3 so far with 56 K's in 67 innings while only walking 9 batters...Middleton now has 147 career wins for the Stars and 2137 K's in 2434 innings with allowing only 347 walks over his 11 years...That's only allowing 34 walks a year....

Young SP José León has 7 wins now with a very good ERA of 2.52...Leon who was drafted in 2016 at the 19th spot is looking to be a very good pick at that pick...Hopefully Leon will keep improving...One of the bright spots for the Stars this season....
