The Stars get into the playoffs with 87 win season...As the Stars start to age and are not the same team as a few years back they still won there division with 87 wins...In September the Stars went 11-13 which was the second worst month this year and need to really pick it up the next few games against powerhouse Louisville...The STARS struggled in all areas, 7th overall in hitting and 4th overall in pitching...

Ace Starter Brian Middleton had another solid season going 13-10 3.62 ERA... Middleton had 206 K's in 206 innings which was the 8th time in 10 seasons Middleton has done that... Middleton will miss the playoffs with elbow tendinitis and will be a big loss...

1B Gary Knowles had a great year and really helped the Stars with his bat... Knowles hit .308 with 25 homers and 91 RBI'S...He also had 33 doubles and a 5.0 WAR....This was Knowles first full season as a starter and hopefully more to come like this season...

Catcher Jason Dunn had an off year for the Stars...Dunn only hit .255 but hit 27 homers, 30 double's and had 86 RBI'S..Its Dunn first year he didn't have over 100 RBI'S since 2012 when he had 96...Hopefully his bat will get hot during the playoffs....
