The Stars are now at 10 games over .500 a very slow start... Since June the Stars are 37-23 and its looking like they are playoff bound this season. Although this year there in the middle of the pack with offensive and pitching numbers...
The Stars overall offensive batting average is 8th which is very low and pitching ERA 5th....So when they get into the playoffs they could struggle to go far unless they get hot...
The Stars trying to do anything to boost the offensive numbers claimed Richard Rollins and so far the first few weeks Rollins has done well with the bat...Rollins is hitting .315 with a .393 OBP and in 54 AB 17 hits, 2 doubles and 2 homers with 6 RBIS...
3B Kevin Minuso is having another great season.. Minuso has a knack of finding his way on to the base paths.. Minuso is hitting .302 25 doubles and .396 OBP for the Stars number two hitter...Last season Minuso hit .309 .401 OBP so he has been very consistent... Minuso is one of the more complete players as his D is great, has good speed and just can hit....
Closer Skip Glendenning keeps getting better and better...The 23 year old has been unhittable so far this season... Glendenning in 54 inning pitched has allowed only 33 hits and has 71 K's Plus has a ERA of 1.86 and 35 saves so far this season....His best season so far...Last season he got 37 saves so Glendenning should easy past that record of his in a few weeks....
