Its been a slow start for the Stars this season...After a nice start in April going 16-12, the Stars in May have gone 7-12 so far and trail first place by 2.5 games...
The injury bug has really hit the Stars so far the first month...Outfielders Jared Delger out for 4 weeks, Carlos Quick out for 2 weeks, Austin Gibson out for 4 weeks and now long time Star Yi-lin She will miss the rest of the year...She last year had 36 homers and 87 RBIS....He will be replaced either by Edison Elliott or Cecil Bradley...

Last season the Stars had one of the best offences and this season the whole team isn't hitting...Who would of thought the Stars team batting average would be 12th overall...The Stars need to start hitting and then they can win more games...

INF Alonso Perales is the only STAR player to be hitting over .300, as he is hitting .344 and has 56 hits so far....Perales seeing allot of action at 1B as Vicente Medrano, .181 batting average is slumping....
