The Stars through June are hanging on to first place over California by two games... The Stars have had the injury bug so this season but only Yi-lin She is out for the season....

Starting 3B Kevin Minuso had a career day vs Hawaii...Minuso went 5-5 against the Hawaii Tropics, with 2 2B, 1 3B, 2 RBI and 1 R. Overall Minuso is hitting .285, 18 doubles, 5 triples, and 4 homers and a nice .386 OBP.....Minuso only 22 has a long career ahead of him here with the Stars....

Vet outfielder Austin Gibson had a nice day vs Hawaii as Gibson hits 2 home runs , going 3-3 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. Gibson in the tail end of his career is hitting ,261 9 25 so far this season....He looks to have another 20 plus homerun year this season.....

The Stars number one starter Brian Middleton
pitches a 4-hit shutout against the Hawaii Tropics with 5 strikeouts and 0 BB allowed! Middleton improved his record to 8-7 with a 3.19 ERA....
