The Stars had a horrible month in May going 11-17...A few injuries hurt some but the Stars should be better than this. The Stars are having trouble scoring runs. So far the Stars have scored 239 runs which is tenth overall in the JL division....When the Stars start scoring more runs they should see allot more runs...Hopefully June it will happen....

The Stars have allot of new faces on the team...MBWBA # 3 prospect SS Jared Stuart was called up will get allot of playing time...Stuart has really developed and the scouts feel it was time for Stuart to get his shot...So far Stuart has played in 9 games and is hitting .242 but has a .371 OBP...At 22 years old he still has a way to go to be fully developed...

Rookie Outfielder # 27 prospect Jared Delger got the call a week earlier...Last season in AAA Delger smashed 28 homers but had 124 K's...This season in 18 games at AAA he hit 3 homers but his OBP he did much better with a .427...Delger first 17 games with the Stars he has 15 hits, 3 doubles and 3 homers so far...Delger can give the Stars more power in the lineup which they are lacking...So far the Stars have 54 homers and that's 11th overall out of 12 teams....In one game Delger hit 2 home runs against the Chicago Black Sox, going 2-3 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.

Rookie SS/DH Travis Cantrell is now starting at SS and DH for the Stars...Cantrell has always been a very good hitter but his defense needs a little help....In AAA Cantrell he hit .334 in 156 games and so far this year with the Stars Cantrell is hitting .276 with 35 hits 11 doubles and 3 triples so far...

Cantrell actually had a better showing in the minors than Stuart. Stuart was just meh. Interested to see how he does being in the bigs.

Cantrell's Ratings are better now, hopefully Stuart rating offensive ratings will get better,,,
