The Stars long time SP Devon Hyngary has reached another mile stone... Hyngary has passed the 3,500 strikeouts in his career last month...With probably two more starts Hyngary has a total of
3,548 and still is in 6th place in the all time strikeout leaders....SP John Ross Riles, Jr.* is in fourth place with 3,696 strikeouts..... Hyngary has been with the Stars his whole career which started back in 1993....His 187 wins are now 27 on the all time wins in the MBBA..Its been a great career for Hyngary and the Stars...The big question will the Stars resign there pitching Star for another year... Hyngary in his final year of his contract and is losing most of his stuff....He has almost walked 6 batters every nine innings with around 8 K's....In September his ERA has balloned to 25.00 in his last two starts....So the next few starts will be important to Hyngary...He never has played for any other team and wants to finish here in Valencia....

Always tough when a star ages... Hyngary's ERA has been steadily marching upwards since his only 20 win season in 1995. I am afraid of what his salary demand may be!

His salary demands are 3.2 mill but if I wanted to he probably would sign for less,,but look at his last 4 starts... 0-4 21.94 era....ouch.......
