The Stars had another horrible month in July and are looking to the off season to look to make changes...The Stars now are 21 games below .500 and in July had there worst month going 8-17...Valencia none for some good offensive teams are really stuggling to score runs...That area will be addressed during the off season...

There are some bring spots happening with the Stars...Outfielder Jonathan Armas was named Player of the Week..Armas went 13-26 for the week, totaled 4 home runs with 8 RBIs and scored 8 times.Overall Armas is hitting .300 20 homeruns 64 Rbi's....Last season Armas hit 22 homers so he should do much better buy the season end which will be his best season so far....

Catcher Montes Mendosa has been very hot the last 8 games hitting .536 over that time...Mendosa got a break at the end of last season when he was called up and in 18 games hit .407...Overall this season Mendosa is hitting .326....

RP Deshawn has had a terrfic season after a horrible year last season...Pines in 60 innings has 62 k's and has a soild 2.54 era and over the last 12 games Pines has posted a low 1.59 era...

SP Devon Hyngary has a 0.86 ERA over his last 3 starts...Overall Hyngary is 10-7 with a 3.70 era...In 149 innings he has 171 K's.....Hyngary now with 140 career wins has a shot over the 5 seasons to reach 200 wins...Of course he needs to stay healthly...
