SP Shahnawaz Hussain- Hussain has bumped his Stuff POT +2 points and his MOV POT +1 point this year while he grew his current Stuff +1. He has bumped his OVERALL Potential from 35 to 40 while his CURRENT is stuck at 20. Hussain’s stats for 2061 haven’t caught up to his ratings and will repeat SA San Juan for 2062 until ready for promotion to A Medford early to mid-2062 depending on performance. He will be placed in the DEVLAB in the offseason.
RP Dave Furman- Furman was drafted in the 3rd round in 2059 as a 45 POT 6/6/5 reliever. He has bumped his STUFF POT to 9, MOV POT to 7 and CON POT to 6. All his pitches have bumped, and he now can be considered for a rotation spot improving to a 60 OVR RP or a 65 OVR SP. HE needs DEVLAB work on his Stamina which sits at 3.
RP Marty Pearce- Pearce was drafted in the 8th round in 2059 as a 40 POT RP 6/5/4. His STUFF Pot dropped off after being drafted but has bumped +2 since bring his STUFF Pot to 7 along with a +1point bump in MOV Pot. His velocity has jumped to 95-97 moving his current OVR at 45 with a POT of 50. He will make his AAA debut in 2062 after a DEVLAB stint this offseason.
RP Antonio Perez- Perez was another reliever in the 2059 Draft class in the 4th round. He was a 30/45 at the draft but has climbed to a 35/55 reliever with a +2 point bump in STUFF Pot, +1 MOV Pot and +2 in CON with his 97-99 pitch velocity. He needs some work on hold runners if we can get that in the DEVLAB.
RP Jacinto Gallegos- Gallegos was drafted in 2057 in the 4th round as a 20/35 RP at 8/7/6 and already throwing at 96-98 mph. He dropped to a 5/5/5 25/40 rated pitcher in ’59 but put up good stats through 2060. By May of this season, he had a +2 point bump in STUFF Pot, +1 in MOV Pot and +2 in CON Pot. His velocity is now at 97-99 and is a 35/55 RP. He probably still a year away but will spend time in the DEVLAB for stamina or hold runners while also getting some time in spring training.
P Ho-jun Yi- Yi was acquired via trade with Atlantic City in 2057 and 16 years of age. He played in rookie ball Gaylord through 2058 then pitched a season in San Juan. He pitched two seasons in Carson City and will now play in AAA Death Valley. His velocity remained at 95-97 but he added a point of STUFF Pot and MOV Pot while adding +2 points of CON Pot that bumped him to a 25/50 starter. He has a three-pitch mix but is underdeveloped change will keep him in the bullpen where he is a 40/55 reliever. We have options in the DEVLAB to work on his change or hold runners.
SP Mash’al bin Nasim was a scouting discovery in 2060 as a 20/45 SP and was promoted late in 2060 to make 8 starts. He impressed and moved to S A San Juan where he did well but lost a point of MOV Current and Pot but boosted his velocity to 95-97. He is now a 20/50 SP and will be pitching in A Medford in 2062. He’ll go to the DEVLAB to work on his MOV.
