Comments:
LF Bob Chastain completed his left field defense improvement course with an outstanding rating. The coaching staff at the complex stated his defense will be better than it has been in the past. This has been confirmed by OSA scouts in the stats+ system. His outfield error, arm and CF defense all improved 1 point.
RF Guo-Xiu Mak successfully completed bunting drills at the development lab. I can say for certain that he will be better at bunting for hits and sacrifice bunts going forward. Stats+ confirms with a 1-point bump in sac bunting.
2B Rick Hewitt attended the bunting lab with Mak and was also successful. I fully expecte he wull have like abilities as Mak in this part of the game. Stats+ reflects a 1-point bump in sac bunts and bunt for a hit. Combined this with his speed it should result in a few more hits this season.
SS Julio Gonzalez was the lone setback in the dev lab as he had poor results in trying to add third base to his skill set. We strongly advise not to play him at 3B this season.
