The Hawaii Tropics score four runs in the home half of the 7th inning off a familiar Pacific reliever. He gave up a solo blast on his 1st pitch to Lorenzo Holloway then walked Roberto Lopez on four pitches. He thew a wild pitch to Jose Ordonez to move Lopez to second then gave up an infield hit to Ordonez. Vicente ‘Yogi’ Martinez greeted Williams with a line drive to the wall in center on the first pitch he saw for an RBI. Jorge Dodd reached on an error that scored Ordonez and moved Martinez to third to add to Williams’s frustration. His final pitch was lined for a single by Vincente Mendez to score Martinez and chase Williams from the game.

Reynaldo Trinidad earned the win after giving up an unearned run in 2/3 inning of work to improve to 4-2. Bob Westbrooks earned his 9th hold with 1.1 scoreless innings allowing a hit, walked one and struck out one. Gocek recorded the final two outs for his 12th save.

Jose Ordonez let the leas slip away allowing three runs on three hits in an inning to take the loss and fall to 6-2.

We’re just gonna forget this series ever happened. Also I blame the Hawaiian Tropics models again.
