Hawaii starter Semih Gurani gave up three homers in six innings to the Long Beach Surfers. He gave up four runs, two earned, on four hits. He also walked one and struck out two in the loss. Reynaldo Trinidad pitched a clean inning with a K to keep his team in the game. Gheorghe Sollolovici followed Trinidad with a scoreless inning giving up a hit.
Jose Ordonez has slumped on the mound but has stayed hit at the plate going 3 for 4 in this game and scored a run. Carlos Antunez was 2 for 4 with a double (1), had an RBI and scored a run.
Long Beach wins the series 2-1 scoring 12 runs on the Tropics.
