On the Diamond Vol. 2 2001

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Michael Shellenbarger
0-1 with a 1.12 ERA and 9 K's in 16 IP. So sad to see him pitch two great games and not get a win.

Batter of the sim:
1B Jacinto Merino JR
.317 Avg in 41 AB's with 4 HR's. Glad to see the power from the big guy.

2-8 sim. Absolutely awful. I don't even want to talk about this nonsense. This better straighten out fast.

In other news, the Crusaders won a couple of the waiver claims and its yet to be seen how the team will make room for the new guys. Look for updates throughout the year as the bench will most likely change quite a bit all year long.

Merino is one of the best deals in the league, that was a nice extension you signed him to last season.

I really wanted to keep Merino, but his salary made him a perfect candidate to be dealt for top young guys. I definitely miss him in the middle of my lineup!
