Pitcher of the sim:
SP Steve Taub
A 2.25 ERA in 16 IP but somehow didn't get a win. Still Taub is having an excellent rookie season.

Batter of the sim:
2B Bernard Maselli
.333 avg in 39 AB's. He just keeps rolling. Only struck out twice the whole sim.

A decent 6-4 sim. If i can keep managing these winning sims perhaps i can make some late noise in the wildcard or at least play the role of spoiler. Gotta give some props to Paul Kimzey. After a missing a bunch of time on the DL he comes back to have a 1-1 sim with a 3.0 ERA. Not too bad. The trade deadline will come and go without making a move unless something startling pops up. I'm still open to moving Botham or Kimzey or both is some sort of deal as I have players ready to replace those guys and itd be lovely to pick up a solid 3rd baseman.
