On the Diamond Vol. 7 1998

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Nick Machiavelli
2-0 with a 1.69 ERA in 16 IP.

Batter of the sim:
1B Clement Troutt
.321 Avg in 28 AB's.

A sort of disappointing 4-5 sim. I was the victim of 3 losses in games that were considered top games of the week. That shouldn't happen very often so its hard to be too upset about the losses. Offense continues to be very subpar. I'm starting to think I will need to make some changes in that department. The young pitching staff still doing reasonably well. An overall ERA of 2.93 for the sim seems fantastic considering last years struggles. I think if my staff continues to develop like it is I can afford to move a few of my better pitching prospects to perhaps make some offensive changes. Stay tuned for that.

Machiavelli has been a startlingly good pickup for you. Apparently this was his diabolical plan all along - some could say, um...never mind. :)
