Pitcher of the sim:
SP Adam Weisgerber
1-1 with a 1.50 ERA in 18 IP. I'm really impressed with his rookie season so far.
Batter of the sim:
SS Chris Hartley
.455 Avg over the sim. Nice little bump to his season average.
Another 4-5 sim. Jason Grass what is wrong with you! I don't expect you to be a star player but I expected an average major league performance and I'm quite disappointed. I have to figure out a better option at 3rd base. Perhaps a benching will spark something out of your lazy ass.

Re: On the Diamond Vol. 8 1998
Man, Grass is really struggling. He should be a consistent contributor. I see the numbers he put up last year as a "peak" for him, he's probably more of a mid .700 OPS type. Perhaps find a platoon partner for him for a while, just play him against lefties and let him be the #1 infield backup versus righties until he hits a hot streak.
Though, with his defense being above average his offense isn't hurting you as bad as you might think.

Man, Grass really is struggling. I've got a coulpe of guys with similar skills in the same boat in Jackson and Hauser (though Wings has been injured much of the year).
