On the Diamond Vol. 6 2001

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Steve Taub
1-1 with a 1.06 ERA and 10 K's in 17 IP. 2 complete games but only one win. Good to see Tauby rolling though.

Batter of the sim:
2B Wenceslao Martinez
.342 Avg in 38 AB's. Martinez was off to a horrific start but he had himself a nice stretch of games.

6-4 sim. Not bad but could have been better. Finally won a series against Madison and did well against Vancouver but Valencia tore us up a bit. Valencia is proving to be the class of the division. They are already winning the season series 9 games to 2.

Couple tough series' coming up. Next sim could be very telling as to whether the Crusaders can climb back into the playoff race or need to start thinking about the future.

Well, he was a Rule 5 draft pick (mine, actually) so moving him requires him being waived, then offered back to Long Beach.

I can't believe you finally won a series from me. I just hope you guys can keep Vancouver down and out of the playoffs.

Ehe.
Vancouver doesn't appear to need any help staying out of the playoffs.
