Round 1 Pick 24: Jorge Roman is a five pitch Left-hander with solid Stuff and good Movement. His best pitches are a high potential curve and cutter. He needs to work on control before he can be counted on in any sort of starting role

Round 2 Pick 22: Jesus Fox is a 20-year-old tall 6'8" right-handed pitcher from Texas. His stats are pedestrian at best, and will need a lot of work in the dev lab to be worth the 2nd round money he will command. He is also Fragile so there's that to deal with as well.

Round 2 Pick S: Jesus Gonzales is a high schooler with decent stats with the exception of control. As of right now, he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. But there is potential for an off the charts fastball and splitter, so he will need to work hard on his command this season.

Round 2 Pick S: Carlos Romero is an 18-year-old shortstop with excellent work ethic and decent defensive skills. This was a depth pick for the most part.

Round 3 Pick 22: Alfred Mangrum Another high schooler with average stats but the potential for a really decent fastball/slider combo. Unlike Romero, Mangrum is lazy and will go to work ethic boot camp

*Special mention*

Round 5 Pick 22: Enrique Lopez 20 year old reliever with a great fastball and not much else, including upside. He is a 7/4/5 pitcher so nothing more than a depth piece unless he bumps or excels in the development lab

Tough on yerself. Having those extra comp picks gives your system more depth. Too bad it wasn’t a better class.

Roman was my top guy when you drafted him but Aaron’s draft write-up has me excited about the pitcher I ended up with.

I can see Romero starting some games at second. And Mangrum’s repertoire could bump his stuff and he could contribute to a bullpen. I had my eyes on those guys.

After seeing the first round unfold, Mexico City quickly realized they needed more Jesus.
