The Mexico City Aztecs have signed reliever You-cheng Hang in an attempt to bolster their floundering bullpen. Hang's better days are probably behind him, but the Aztecs are hoping he can provide some relief to an injured pitching staff. Hang last played with Brooklyn in 2061 after being acquired from Des Moines.

In a corresponding move, Mexico City have released Zach Davis and designated him for assignment. Davis was 3-7 with a 6.46 ERA for the Aztecs this season. Davis was signed to compete for a spot in the starting rotation and ultimately ended up in the bullpen. Now he heads to waivers and will be sent down to Los Cabos pending he clears waivers.
