November 14th, 2049 - With the offseason mode in full swing now the Madison Wolves have announced that long time AA Hitting Coach Mauro Hernandez has decide to call it quits and retire. The
"Toothbreaker" has been coaching the Minors for 11 seasons now. The last 9 with Burlington. He was part of the team that
won the Final Judgement back in 2044.
"That was a fun team to be around that season. The fans up here in Burlington were awesome. They deserved it." Mauro (now 48) played 4 seasons in the BBA (2027-2030) with Tucson, Omaha and Long Beach, along with 12 years in the minors. He was picked in the 7th round in the 2023 draft, (pick #173rd) overall.
I've spent the better part of 22 years of my life riding buses and playing in the smaller small town parks here in America. I've gotten to see a lot of this great country and I'm grateful. But now its time to hang up the spikes and do some traveling with the Mrs. Maybe head back to the Santo Domingo for a bit to visit with family.
The Wolves are actively searching for his replacement.
