Farm Fresh 2043, AAA Season Wrap-Up

The Carolina Flight snared a Wild Card berth to make the postseason, then won their first two playoff series to make it to the AAA championship games.
But an injury that sidelined their top starter – 20-game winner and GL Sub-League Pitcher of the Year Romeu Tamiero – just before their matchup with Albuquerque in The Big One may well have cost the Flight a shot at just their second Rupert Horn championship.
We’ll never know, of course, but the loss of Tameiro was grievous, because Carolina had no one else even remotely close to Tameiro’s ability to win a big game when it counted.
As a result, the Blue Sox lost the Big One 3 games to 1 and left themselves to face a winter wondering “What if?”
