With GM Ryan Collins still out of action, the MBBA League Offices have taken temporary control over the club.

Two small moves were made as the club headed to Spring Training.

With Steve Faulkner, struggling prospect, looking like a top option in right field, the Black Sox needed a veteran stopgap option for the outfield. They added Daron McNair, who needs just one hit to reach 2000 for his career, to be the starter here for now or at least split time with Michael Scott.

They also needed a power bat with some versatility as a depth option. Veteran Willie Williams was signed to a one year deal to fill that role.

League management will not be trading or engaging in trade offers with other teams during this time. We will hold this team for Ryan until the All-Star Break, but we're hoping for some form of communication from him before then.
