I have very good young talent and picked up a few more from Madison
The Future of Washington Bobwhites
P Shane Christen #57 At 24 Shane has a great work ethic and has a nice speed that tops off at 99 Mph. If he can get his act together and get his desire to win up around his work ethic he would be a masterful Pitcher.
SS Waichirou 'Thumper' Moronobu #2 The word stud comes to mind when I look at Waichirou. He can play 2 positions but i plan on keeping him at SS. He has a great plate preparation and should not K very often and get his share of hits and homers.
P Brendan Meyer #86 Meyer will get his call up and shall be my Number 2 guys. At just 21 he has a very bright future ahead of him. Has a few good pitches but nothing amazing yet. Another guy with a great work ethic and desire to win. I think we shall hear about him often.
SS Bopper Kengos #18 Bopper is what I would call a teams dream. Bopper I think could be a future hall of famer with the skills he has. He will be my 1st baseman. As long as he does not K every other at bat he will be here a very long time.
P Oscar Funke #50 When you have a pitcher who has a 68% of his hits groundballs he has to be doing something right. Another young Pitcher who should have a very good future. Just hope his work ethis does not prevent him form fully blooming into a star.
LF Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds #35 He may not be an all star every season or win any awards. But Reynolds should be a constant starter who bring all he can to the team.
Now I have one guy who may not be young and may not be the leader of a team but leads with his bat and hits.
CF Sawyer 'So Smooth' Silk #10 Will be a hall of fame player no doubt. At almost 500 homer and over 2000 hits Silk will be the silent leader of this team. Not all leaders need to be out there with a big C on his jersey. Instead when he pops one out of the park the young guys will follow.
Washington Plans to Rebuild

Re: Washington Plans to Rebuild
Plans to rebuild are on hold, as I've just taken over the team less than an hour ago. Season ticket sales in Washington have already gone up upon the breaking of this news.
