He started the game with a five pitch first inning. He ended the game with a six pitch ninth inning. In fact, Mark Lolololo threw fewer than 10 pitches in five of the nine innings he pitched. He walked three batters and struck out nine. Oh, and he didn’t allow a hit! It was the first no-hitter of the year in the BBA, though it came against the Madison Wolves, who barely qualify as a BBA team. Nonetheless, Lolololo’s gem of a game will go down in history books.

LHP Mark 'Bender' Lolololo
“Man, this feels great,” said Lolololo after the game. “Davey’s been calling great games all year and he was on it again tonight. I couldn’t have done this without my boys behind me. I actually felt I was keeping the ball up in the zone more than I wanted which allowed some balls to be hit in the outfield, but them boys didn’t let anything drop out there. Kudos to them.
Bender is known as an extreme groundballer and tonight was just the second time all season he has allowed double digit flyball outs. When he isn’t striking out batters, he normally induces weak contact in the infield. Regardless, the Wolves couldn’t make solid contact on the balls up in the zone and the Bluebirds capitalized in a game where the offense didn’t show up. The 2 runs on 5 hits was more than enough with Lolololo on the mound and Nashville walked away with the 2-0 win and a firm grasp on the Heartland title.
