Cramer, drafted 8th overall in 2057 by the Yellow Springs Nine, was traded to the Bluebirds as part of the blockbuster package sending Majd bin Nawaf to the Nine, but his ties to Heartland teams don’t stop there. Cramer is from the hometown of former Omaha GM, Justin Niles. Cramer grew up a competitive gamer, playing major tournaments for Fortnite. His mouse flicks created exceptional wrist strength and translated to immense power for the switch-hitting slugger. He is nimble on his feet after learning agile moves from the third party shooter. Somehow that translates to baseball. I dunno. He’s got the skills to stay in CF and is an all-or-nothing swinger with a good speed on the basepaths.

At age 16 he was thrust into rookie ball where he did not disappoint with a .779 OPS. He followed that up with a .848 OPS that earned him a promotion to Short A to start 2059, where he continued his torrid pace with an OPS of .886. Now, 19, Cramer begins the season in Single A with Nashville’s system and has an .831 OPS through 16 G. He continues to do better than his ratings suggest and that was the biggest factor in acquiring him for bin Nawaf. If he keeps demolishing pitching with the addition of his Zimmer-like glove, Cramer could see the Bigs before 2063. Crissy Tingle just became expendable.

Cramer is the one I worry about the most in that trade, especially since it appears bin nawaf has forgotten how to play baseball.

Wasn’t the biggest fan of his in the draft, but he’s put up great numbers so far.

And .833 OPS isn’t like he completely fell off. He can get back into the mid-.900s easily.

Could be in Nashville already if he put down the video game controller. Whatever, as long as that power comes along, Cramer will be a valuable asset. Still young and I'm not too worried about the way he is progressing. Should be at Double A for the entirety of the year.

I was skeptical on Cramer, but he really developed over the past year. Maybe most importantly, he had an outstanding dev lab to improve his defense, making him a legitimate CF. This, coming after a successful dev lab earlier in the offseason improving his bat speed. He had a great spring and is off to a great start in the BBA, but will likely be back in the minors when Tingle returns from injury.

Not sure anyone but Nashville can afford to send that production back to the minors.

I wasn't planning on this explosion. It allows Tingle to rehab for another week, to say the least.
