Ramos was signed as a minor league free agent by Nashville for $4.2069M after the 2053 season. It may seem like an arbitrary number, but the teenager requested the specific number thinking it would be out of reach. The Texan has good discipline and power to the gaps, but his strength is in the field. Ramos has the skills to be a top tier 2B, but the club hopes he is able to stay at SS in the BBA. To be honest, Ramos squeaked into the top 10 for the sole hope he will be able to play SS int he Bigs. If not, he isn't much of a prospect.

The left-handed hitting SS had a .757 OPS in rookie ball in 2054, but only .528 OPS in 50 games at Single A. He'll begin 2055 in Single A again with hopes of replicating his lower level success, though he is probably a lump or two away from becoming irrelevant. There don't seem to be many middle infielders with Ramos' upside, in fact, he is ranked #6 SS prospect in all of BBA and has a better glove than those ranked above him.

Looks like he'll have a ceiling of a utility guy, but should be decent given his role. Considered calling him up this season, but his bat really isn't there compared to some free agent utilitymen.

Oh to have the luxury to call him a utility guy lol. He looks like an average starting SS to me as the talent bloat ages out.

Yeah that's the big variable. As of right now he's a utility guy. Not sure he's got the range to be a BBA shortstop, but we'll see how this plays out.

Ramos began 2057 with the Bluebirds, but will be limited to a bench role. He could potentially get more reps at 2B if Triska continues to struggle defensively, but his role as utility infielder is important. Love his LH bat.
