1. CF Alfonso Gonzáles: umm, what is going on with Gonzales? He seems to be even worse at tracking pitches…AGAIN! He needs to get his act together and stop relying on his past successes, because he could lump at any moment if he doesn’t take his training serious. STRUGGLING v
2. RF Ra’id Usamah: Usamah still hasn’t made any progress. The trainers have a lot of work to get him to get his bat speed quicker. FRUSTRATED
3. CF Zee-loo Tsao: well, it looks like last week was a fluke. Tsao completely lost all progress he made and seems more lost than ever at the plate. STRUGGLING vvv
4. SP Bin-ying ‘Bye Bye’ Yen: still not showing much progress, but hoping he still has time to improve his control. It’s not easy, so we’ll give him some grace, but his roster spot could rely on his lab. FRUSTRATED
5. CF Adolf Dragota: no improvement for Dragota yet, as he doesn’t seem into the training. Nason’s talk didn’t seem to have an effect. FRUSTRATED
6. SS Luke Cage: this seems promising! Cage has been tracking pitches and verbally calling out pitch types without swinging. Hopefully he can do it with a bat in his hands. ON TRACK ^
7. SP Brent ‘Black Jack’ Chappel: wow! What an improvement from last week. Blackjack’s breaking ball had at least an extra inch of drop from what we’ve seen previously. Very promising. EXCELLING ^^
8. CF Carter ‘Fortnite’ Cramer: not much has changed from last week. Cramer was last seen coming into the weight room with bloodshot eyes attributed to played video games all night. We wish it were just drugs. FRUSTRATED
9. SP Harry Spurlock: love to see this improved velocity from Spurlock. He’s made great strides and making a case for the rotation. EXCELLING ^^
10. SP Javier ‘Pops’ Basanta: Pops hasn’t made much progress, if any, and looks like he’s on the outside looking in for the final rotation spot. FRUSTRATED
