There was a position player in the late-90s/early-00s I drafted for 2 or 3 of my teams that honestly seemed like he was "day-to-day" every season from Opening Day to the playoffs. I want to say it was Albert Belle, but that may just be because I hated Albert Belle (which is kind of like hating the Yankees...who doesn't?).Santos isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 1-2 weeks.

For the sake of huge chunks of my sanity that were sacrificed to fantasy baseball for 20+ years, every "day-to-day" (damn, how I hate that phrase!) injury should be in this format (from Armando Santos' injury news in the past Sim):
Ben Teague, GM Boise Spuds
2834-3334, .459 PCT (6,168 games, 47 seasons)
12 Playoff Appearances, 1 Championship, 2 GM of the Year
Former BBA GM: Many (Monty Brewster Memorial Series champion: 1997)
Former GBC GM: Jerusalem, Buenos Aires
Boise Home Page (roster, prospects, etc.)
