I see the two are matching up again tonight.
No way I would go tonight. It will be lucky if the temp is below 100F (38C) at first pitch.
I saw the two back in April when they both made their first major league starts ("[Ogando] surrendered two hits in six scoreless innings of a 3-2 win over Pineda and the Mariners at Rangers Ballpark on April 5.") . Impressed by both of them, I added one or both to most the fantasy teams I have. Then they both made the all-star game.
So, anyway, if the Rangers had had the sense to build a stadium with a covered roof, I would go to a heck of a lot more games. This summer has been brutal: 110F (43C) every day the past two weeks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With such temps it can still be 99F at 10:00 PM.
Ogando versus Pineda
Re: Ogando versus Pineda
it's usually a hard one to call
well, I checked and Ogando got bombed; Pineda had a QS in Arlington vs the Rangers, which is impressive enough for a young kid
in my fantasy leagues I am leaning toward keeping Pineda over Ogando, cause Pineda throws more pitches for strikes (moving the ball around at the same time), and seems more consistent than Ogando
but it's too early to tell, really, which one might better
well, plus Ogando may have lesser endurance

Guess I missed that you were in TX. I have family in Plano and in Dallas proper and my wife and I want to move down that way at some point.
