First, WTF was Grimm even doing? He has to cover first, sure...but if you get to the bag and can't cover it because the first baseman is there you're job is complete.

Last, I can't read lips, but the fact that Wedge doesn't go nuclear tells me the ump basically said, "Hey, I screwed the pooch on that one. Dinner's on me."

This might be the worst double-play call you'll ever see

Intant replay... lol.

Is this worse than the fantom tag calls we see every friggin day? The ball beat the runner it was just caught by the wrong guy at 1st. How is that worse than a bang-bang play at 3B where the fielder never touches the baserunner?!?

This kind of stuff is why I haven't watched a game of baseball in about 5 years (except for a spring training game I attended this year).
